Carolyn Theobald joined us in May 2007 and operates out of our Hay office. She studied law at Exeter University and at the College of Law in Chester before embarking on her legal career in Lincoln's Inn in 1976.  After a spell working in the north-west of England she moved to the Hereford/Wales border some 25 years ago.

Formerly a Training and Development Officer with Relate, Carolyn has a background in family law but now concentrates on the following areas of law, in which she has had many years’ experience, helping  hundreds of families and individuals:

  • Wills, probate and estate planning - including deeds of gift  and declarations of trust
  • Residential and agricultural property matters - including sales by auction and tender

Carolyn was a governor at Gwernyfed High School for many years and is a trustee of a local charity, the North Weir trust.

In her spare time she enjoys music, singing, gardening, spending time with family and friends and walking her young dog, Ellie, in the Radnorshire Hills.
