Karen joined Gabbs in our Hay office in the summer of 2017. She has over 25 years' experience working for law firms in Cornwall, Herefordshire and latterly hopping over the border into Powys. During those years she worked as a legal secretary, PA, and office manager.
Karen currently works as a legal secretary in the Private Client Department and also provides support to the Conveyancing Department when needed. Since moving to the very west of Herefordshire it was always Karen’s dream to work in Hay, but legal jobs in the town are like hens’ teeth. Karen was therefore thrilled to be offered a position and very much enjoys being part of the lovely Hay team.
In her spare time, Karen is involved with her local church and currently holds the post of secretary to the Parochial Church Council. Karen and her husband live with a menagerie of dogs, cats and poultry and when not looking after them, enjoys family history research, crafting and watching "edge of your seat" thrillers.
