Kate is a Legal Director in our Hay on Wye office and undertakes a broad spectrum of private client work. She is experienced in all aspects of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and estate administration. Kate also acts for individuals and business clients in relation to tax efficient estate planning.
Born and educated in Monmouthshire, Kate studied law at Oxford University before qualifying as a solicitor in 2012. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Kate was previously a partner at a long-established firm of solicitors with offices in Abergavenny and Crickhowell, before joining Gabbs in January 2026.
In her (limited) spare time Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children and menagerie of animals.
