Gabbs’ Business Continuity Plan
March 2020
With regards to the ongoing challenges that the COVID-19 virus presents to our business, clients and employees I write to assure you that the quality and continuity of the legal services we offer to our clients remains our priority.
In the interests of the health and wellbeing of our clients, employees and their families we are introducing a number of flexible working practices to ensure we continue to be able to offer legal services to our local communities.
Our carefully devised business continuity plan addresses all the requirements essential to keeping the business running, as well as ensuring that the wellbeing of our clients, employees and their families are maintained.
Client services
Our client services remain the same, including:
We have introduced a range of flexible working practices with our solicitors and support staff to reduce physical contact. This measure has been put in place to help protects our clients, staff and families.
Business services
If you concerned about the impact of the current global situation on your business we have a range of solicitors that can offer you support and guidance. Please feel free to call us and make an appointment to see how we can help to safeguard your business.
Ways to contact your solicitor
We are seeking to limit the number of visits from clients to our offices to meet with their solicitor directly. However, there are many other ways to contact us to discuss your matter:
Over the last couple of weeks we have invested heavily in setting up our solicitors and support staff to work remotely. This will mean they will be able to work on your matter, regardless of their location.
We have also introduced a number of hygiene processes within our offices, including hand wipes, sterile cleaning, hand gel and individual equipment.
All our staff have been briefed on the Government’s guidance and provide a united front on playing our part to help reduce the impact of this virus.
We will continue to keep you updated with our ongoing response.
Lastly, we have been serving our local communities with legal advice for the last 250 years. We are proud of the long standing relationships we have built with our clients, fellow practitioners, our staff and their families. We will strive to keep our community healthy, well-informed and supported in order to get through these difficult times together.
