Did you know that not all land is registered at the Land Registry and that, if ownership of your property pre-dates 1990, it is likely that your deeds may be unregistered? There are many benefits of land registration including offering greater protection against fraudulent claims of ownership and on a sale many Buyer’s solicitors do insist on the property being registered before completion which can cause delays.
You may or may not already be aware that the Land Registry fee for voluntary registration is discounted.
Gabbs Solicitors are pleased to be able to offer an initial free 30 minute, no obligation, appointment at our Leominster office where we can review your title deeds and discuss both the benefits and costs involved with an application for first registration.
