Margaret came to Gabbs (then R Trevor Griffiths & Co) as her first job after leaving Secretarial College in 1972. She remained with the firm for seven years during which time the firm became part of Gabb & Co. She then very much enjoyed her time as a psychiatrists’ secretary (useful experience, as it turns out!) She returned to the firm in 1997 when her children were in secondary school and she was looking for a part time job. This is where she has stayed during the transition to Gabbs and being full time – since having dropped a day.
Margaret is Fenella Longstaff’s secretary working in the Hay office.
In contrast to an office job, Margaret enjoys fell walking when she is able and as much time as possible with the grandchildren.
