James is the head of our civil litigation department in our Hereford office and undertakes work in most areas of civil disputes including personal injury, property and boundary disputes, consumer rights matters, landlord and tenant, employment law, professional negligence, inheritance disputes and breach of contract matters.
Born and educated in Gloucestershire, James studied law at Cardiff University before qualifying as a solicitor in 2016.
James was previously a director of a Monmouthshire firm before moving to Gabbs in 2023.
James’ practice covers a wide area and he is therefore able to provide pragmatic, cost effective and commercially minded advice on a range of issues that may give rise to a disagreement between parties.
In his spare time James enjoys spending time in the countryside of Monmouthshire with his wife, two young children and even younger Labrador.
