The Law Commission was set up in 1965 and was charged with the task of helping the law under review and recommending reforms.   It is a strictly non-political body, but has been influential in implementing a number of changes in the law of our land.    That work is ongoing.    The Law Commission faces a number of challenges in a rapidly changing society, and it will be very good to hear the reflections and thoughts of Professor Cooke on the work of this important body.

The talk will be held at College Hall, adjacent to Hereford Cathedral at 7.30pm on Thursday 15th October 2015.
