We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new solicitors, one in each of our offices.

Following the retirement of the well respected Elaine Phillips, we are very pleased to confirm the appointment of Manminder Chhoker, who joins John Shurvinton in the Family Law Department at Gabbs' Hereford office. Manminder has previous experience as a solicitor with a Birmingham firm and is enthusiastically looking forward to working in Hereford, having recently moved to the area with her family.

Joining the Gabbs team at the Hay-on-Wye office is Fenella Longstaff, a solicitor with many years' experience in Bristol and then for the last eight years in Herefordshire. She joins the firm's Hay office, principally dealing with residential conveyancing. With a wide range of interests, she has recently purchased a smallholding in rural Herefordshire.

Finally, joining our Leominster office is Helen Kingdon, who brings with her a wealth of experience in probate, wills and residential conveyancing. She will form a strong team with Nansi Webb in providing expert advice to clients in all aspects of wills, trusts and probate. Helen's interests are her home, her family and sports, including golf, sailing and tennis.

Senior Partner, James Lee, comments: "Everyone at Gabbs is delighted that we are able to strengthen our position in Herefordshire and the Welsh Marches by bringing in three such talented individuals. In turn, we have been pleased that they are so delighted to be joining our firm which, I believe, has an unrivalled reputation for servicing the legal needs of the people of Herefordshire over many years. Whilst we act for clients all over the country and indeed abroad, our main focus is always on providing excellent service to the people of Herefordshire and the immediate area, both through our excellent legal team and by embracing modern technology and continuing to innovate in all aspects of legal practice."
