Did you know that not all land is registered at the Land Registry and that, if ownership of your property pre-dates 1990, it is likely that your deeds may be unregistered? There are many benefits of land registration including offering greater protection against fraudulent claims of ownership and on a sale many Buyer’s solicitors do insist on the property being registered before completion which can cause delays.
