Bio

Kerry qualified as Solicitor in 2004 having obtained her Degree in Law (LLB) Hons and completed her Law Society Finals Examination at Guildford College of Law. She has also completed a Masters Degree in International Human Rights Law (LLM) at Essex University.

Kerry joined Gabbs in November 2018, having relocated to Herefordshire with her family from Suffolk, where she was a Partner in a private practice law firm, specialising in Private client and litigation work, including contentious probate.

Her training started at the national firm, Eversheds and after heading up a department at a four office practice for a number of years, she then worked as a Partner for 5 years in a private practice law firm, specialising in private client and litigation, before her relocation to Herefordshire.

Having recently joined our growing private client department, Kerry has a particular expertise in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Kerry is an experienced practitioner who has prepared hundreds of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She devotes the majority of her time to these areas of law and is particularly noted for her kindness, care and attention when dealing with elderly and vulnerable clients.

Kerry has completed various professional development private client courses. She is an Affiliate member of The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and currently working towards (STEP) accreditation. She has recently passed her first of three 5,000 word dissertations, which entitles her to upgrade to an Associate Member of STEP.
