Bio

Jeremy Wilding was educated at Hereford Cathedral School. He then read Law at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he was a choral scholar in the college’s famous choir, before entering private practice. He qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and has over 30 years’ experience. Most of his work (approx. 75%) relates to civil litigation/dispute resolution, but he advises on a wide range of legal matters including:-

  • Contentious Probate/Wills/Trust cases
  • Contract claims
  • Land/Property disputes (including the Court of Appeal)
  • Business/Partnership litigation
  • Landlord and Tenant law and procedure
  • Company and Partnership law
  • Negligence Claims (including the Court of Appeal)
  • Charity/trust law

Appointments include:

  • Under Sheriff for Herefordshire
  • Past President of the Herefordshire, Breconshire and Radnorshire Law Society
  • Sometime Visiting Tutor in Law, Magdalen College, Oxford
  • Current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Three Choirs Festival Society
  • Member of the Ecclesiastical Law Society
  • Member of the Selden Society

In 2016 he was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty The Queen.
