Based in our Hereford office, Catherine is a member of the Residential Conveyancing team. Catherine’s aim is to make the conveyancing process as understandable as possible.  She has worked on thousands of conveyancing matters, including advanced and varied property transactions such as re-mortgages, equity release, first registrations, and matrimonial transfers.  Currently, more than half of Catherine's caseload involves dealing with new build developments, shared ownership properties and handling the legal aspects of Help to Buy schemes and ISAs.

Catherine graduated with a Law Degree at the University of Sheffield, after which she commenced training as a barrister and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2012. Following this, she graduated with a distinction in her solicitor’s exams which she completed in Leeds whilst working for an international law firm. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2016 and joined the team at Gabbs Solicitors in October 2018.

Catherine was Vice President of the Cambridge Junior Lawyers 2014-15 and in 2018 was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards for her role as conveyancer and her charity work.

Outside of work, Catherine is an avid gym goer and enjoys taking part in active events and dog walking with her Chihuahua, Arnie and her Flat-coated Retriever, Skye. She also supports a number of charitable interests, both local and national.
